SAVE is working with women and children to effect change at the community level. We are engaged in labour standards and factory improvement programs in the garment industry. We try to promote both labour and environmental standards in this region with the help of local multi stake holder initiatives.
SAVE has set up special schools to help remediate child labour / young workers, and an Eco Park is promoted so that children living on the street and in poor communities are offered a healthy environment to live in.
SAVE has formed self help groups to aid the economic development of women from poor communities. SAVE also organizes labour education programs on a regular basis to document working conditions and counsel individuals.
