Joining the network will give you access to a database of local advisors (organisations) that have expertise in improving working conditions and are able to assist you on the ground. The local advisors in our rapidly growing network may be engaged in work such as:

Local organisations are accepted as members of the network only after providing adequate evidence of relevant experience from past projects, and having references checked.

Who Can Join

The Local Resources Network welcomes:

Sourcing companies Brands and retailers dedicated to improving labour standards in their supply chain and who are seeking local advisors they can recommend to their suppliers as a result of social audits or assessment.

Local Suppliers Local producers that wish to improve labour standards in their own operations and need local advisors to assist in these efforts.

International Non Governmental Organisations INGOs dedicated to improving labour standards, campaigning in defense of workers or for improvement of working conditions and who seek local advisors to help them.

Academic Institutions Institutions wanting to provide their staff with information and contact with local experts to conduct research projects.

Membership Organisations Multi-stakeholder and non-multi-stakeholder membership organisations and trade associations, seeking to connect their members with local advisors.

Cost of Joining

There is no charge for local suppliers to join our network (subject to approval). Sourcing companies and other organisations are charged at a rate depending on what country you are based in. See Fees and Registration for detailed information.

Register to Join

To join our network, please complete the online Registration Form. Once your registration is approved and your payment is received, you will be accepted into the network. We require that you keep your profile up-to-date and where applicable, ensure timely payment of fees.
